Two new roles with Connect Communities Cross-Border Project

Parents often say to us "I wish there was something like Politics in Action for people our age!". Well, now there is!

Connect Communities is part of a wider CONNECT project funded through PEACEPLUS and run in collaboration with the British Council, Create (Ireland) and other partners. We will be working with adults in their communities right across Northern Ireland and the Irish border counties to build relationships and collaborative working on the issues most important to communities.

Connect Communities is a community leadership programme aiming to bring together communities across civil society to address a wide range of issues facing our societies on this island.  From climate change to violence against women and girls, to unemployment, alienation and disconnection the project will support adults across Northern Ireland and the Irish border counties.  We want to bring the same fun and energy to this work with adults that we see in our programmes and campaigns with young people.  

Application packs for the Project Manager and Project Officer roles are available on Community NI - and the closing date for applications is on Friday 12th of September at 5 pm. Interviews will be held on 22 and 23 September.
